New Treatment
After my return to Colorado Springs on March 14, I have had a good
month to get medications adjusted, catch up on sleep, improve
digestion, go to many doctor appointments and other health treatments,
see a few friends, and even do a small amount of hiking. It has been
so good to be back and to feel the support of so many people. I have a
special caretaker, my youngest son, who came back from China to be with
me at this time.
On April 14, I began daily (Monday through Friday) radiation therapy at
the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, along with oral chemotherapy
medication. So far the main symptom has been fatigue. It is expected
that this new treatment phase will be finished in six weeks, probably
June 3. I now expect to be doing well and seeing clients again in
July. I am grateful for the quality of work at the cancer center, the
amazingly good help I have had from Dr. Phyllis Clark and various
health practitioners, as well as wonderful friends in Colorado Springs.
This is an interesting new journey.
